A survey was recently done in the UK asking a random sample of people if they knew who Steve Jobs was. Turns out that the country which housed Sherlock Holmes doesn’t have the same deductive capability as the latter, nothing even remotely close actually. Turns out 20% of those surveyed thought that Steve Jobs was actually a soccer player, football in their terminology. Another 10% guessed he was a trade union leader. So next time the British point fingers at America being the country stamped as having the most ignorant population, take solace in the fact that at least we hold the all-important knowledge of who heads the company which gave us the I-phone. So a year after the fact, sources are still coming out with various quotes which were said regarding Barack Obama during the presidential campaign. The most recent of these being Democrat Harry Reid’s statement that Obama could be successful as a black candidate because of the fact that he was “light-skinned” and didn’t have a “Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” I guess this means that unless 50 Cent or Lil’ Wayne become president, America will just refuse to believe that our president is black enough to truly be considered African-American. ~gj you stereotypical congressmen, way to set a great example for your progeny

So I was looking online for new ridiculous technologies which our hard working scientists are coming out with, and I came across the concept of a sugar-powered phone. You’d simply empty out a can of soda into the tube shaped phone, and Wah-Lah, you’re ready to go. On my recent adventures throughout the interwebs, I came across an almost intellectual take on the term “fo sheezy.” Apparently it actually has a long, complex past as it first began as an abbreviation of “fo sheezy, my neezy,” which was actually the bastardization of “fo shizzle my nizzle,” which in term originated from “Fa sho my N***a,” which is a simplification of “For sure my Negro.” And this whole long chain of terminology can all be traced back to the words “I concur with you, my African brother.” So for everyone who had been wondering up til this point, now you know. ~g-jeezy yeezy fosheezy
